San Francisco Ski Club’s "Wine By the Bay" Set for Oct. 9
After a one year absence, The San Francisco Ski Club's 12th "Wine By the Bay" fundraising gala will be Sat., Oct. 9. It will be in a new location in the Presidio in San Francisco: the Golden Gate Club, the graceful Spanish Colonial Revival building with stunning views of the Bay.
The black tie optional event will feature wine tastings from a number of Napa and Sonoma wineries, full buffet dinner, silent auction and dancing to the nine-piece band, "Casino Royale." The wine tastings and dinner are from 7 to 9 p.m. and dancing is 9 p.m. to midnight. "Wine By the Bay" will benefit the ski club and Disabled Sports USA.
The Golden Gate Club is located at 135 Fisher Loop, the Presidio, San Francisco, CA 94129. Please note that this is NOT the Golden Gate Yacht Club where last year’s New York State of Mind Party was held. Directions to Wine By the Bay can be found on www.sfskiclub.org or at www.goldengateclub.com
