Club Cabin Information

The San Francisco Ski and Snowboard Club has rented one or more cabins or condominiums in the north Lake Tahoe or Truckee area during every Singles League race weekend, from Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. until Sunday at noon, or in some cases longer. The club has also been willing to rent a cabin at any other time during the ski season that six or more members are in need of a place to stay for a minimum of two days. The cabin will be available to club members and their guests.

Also, this season the Inskiers are kindly allowing S.F. Ski Club members to stay at their cabin, on a space available basis. (Usual guest fees apply.) All inquiries and reservations must be through Maria.

Although we do not have a ski lease for the full season this year, we do have access to other cabins. We also have a member who is opening her deluxe cabin in Tahoe City for the ski club's use. For any weekend requests, let Maria know, and we will contact others to see if they have space. Should anyone need a place to stay midweek--any time during the ski season--the cost is $35.00 per night, in the North Shore area. Please let Maria know, the sooner the better. We can confirm almost all weekday requests, except for holidays. (You MUST be a member.)

These are the race weekends for the 2007-2008 season:

1. Checking in January 4; checking out January 6: Alpine Meadows race clinic.
2. Checking in January 11; checking out January 13: Alpine Meadows
3. Checking in February 1; checking out February 3: Squaw Valley
4. Checking in February 8; checking out February 10: Sugar Bowl
5. Checking in February 22; checking out February 24: Northstar (joint race with the Sierra League)
