More than just snow sports, the San Francisco Ski Club offers year-round recreational, sports, and social events for Bay Area single adults 21 and over. 

We have skiers of ALL levels of ability (including beginners), so there's always someone your level to ski with.  We have members who are boarders also. We even have members who do not ski or board at all -- and we have lots of events that don't involve skiing or boarding!

Yes, there's an annual membership fee, but it isn't that much ($65 for 2011-2012 season), and it's easily recouped given the discounts members receive on events.  We now accept VISA and Master Card payments for membership fees and major club events.  We have a no refund policy for membership and event payments.

 Skiing companions of all levels.
Cabin on race weekends.  Opportunities to share rides to the mountains.  Possible guest privileges at other members' cabins.
Discount lift tickets through the BAC.
Snowboard racing with the Singles League.
Alpine racing with the Singles League.
Nordic touring.
Periodic ski weeks in Europe.
Group trips throughout the skiing world.
Discounts at club events.
A friendly welcome for beginning skiers.
Year around sports, cultural and outdoor activities.
Discounts at sporting goods stores.
Parties, meetings and competitions with members of other Bay Area ski clubs, the Far West Ski Association and the Bay Area Council of Ski Clubs (BAC).
Option to pursue your interests by leading an activity or trip.
Membership Application

The membership year runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30. Annual membership dues are $65. Beginning April 1, membership dues are reduced to $30 and will expire on Sept. 30. Beginning August 1, dues return to $65 for membership through Sept. 30 of the following year.  Renewing members and new members, please click here for the application and renewal form. 

  • To send your application and payment by mail:  Type or write your information onto this form and mail it with your check payable to “SF Ski Club” to San Francisco Ski Club, P.O. Box 470164, San Francisco, CA 94147

  • To complete this application or renewal process electronically:  Type your information into the shaded fields of this form, then SAVE AS a new document name onto your computer desktop.  Attach your completed form to an email and send it to Barbara Erickson, Membership Director.   Pay the annual dues by credit card by clicking on the “PayPal” button below (even if you don’t have a PayPal account)

As a new applicant, we invite you  to attend our meetings or other events.  Please see our home page for a list of upcoming events.  (You do not need to ask permission to attend a meeting or other one-day event as a guest.  Please come by, and we look forward to meeting you!)
